Hi there. Welcome Family Care Ministries. We wanted to share with some of the good news we were able to accomplish in the first week of June 2010 and what the Lord has done just that week. We were in great need to have the brakes fixed and a service done on our Mitsubishi Colt truck. The Lord showed us to send a short sms “Need 40 people to donate R50 for the repairs of brakes & service of bakkie” to some of our friends expressing our needs. Though only 10 people responded but they covered the expenses. We are so grateful to all those that responded so quickly. We are very encouraged by the love and care of our friends and it inspires us do our best to serve them and the under-privileged in this country. The Lord has been very good to us and provided some extra provisionments that we were able to share with many needy families. We collected these items from Benoni & Pretoria and than delivered them to the recipients.
We donated to a local missionary community:
We donated to needy families in Orange Farm and Evaton West (black townships south of Johannesburg:
We were able to help Maria and her family of 7 (Maria has a small pension there is only one other member that has an income) in Soweto with:
Christway Center in Turffontein (south of Johannesburg) is one of our regular recipients of donations. Elise the founder, is a very caring and hardworking woman who cares for the sick and homeless in her area and she also operates a Pre-school for the under-privileged and feeds over 300 children every day. The children happily helped to unload the vegetables and were all smiles and cheerful carrying bags of vegetables, bread, clothes and cleaning supplies.
We continue with our weekly Bible classes and training in the township of Soweto. Talitha is very busy with the prison ministry we have @ 80 inmates on Challenges of Christian Living course, answering mail, correcting tests and logging in the results, copying and mailing over 1000 pages of class material. The weekly email ministry has grown to over 600 recipients and we devote much time in preparing the messages and in answering the many emails. The fruit of this ministry is evident by the responses we receive.
Here are some of the responses we received to our weekly messages:
Morning Josef, thank you very much for the info. God has sent you to
write this topic (heaven) for me. My dad passed away in March and I have been asking
myself "what its like up there, can he see us etc...."? My questions
have been answered.
Dear Josef, thank you so much for all your encouragements and care it really means a lot to us. Your messages are spot on you do hear right from the Holy Spirit.
Dear Josef & Talitha – thank you both so much for having such wonderful words of wisdom & so much time for other people. Your words have often given me hope in my day. I look forward to your emails & I thank God for the impact you have on so many lives. Keep well & safe. God Bless you richly. -- Sandra
Hi, I'm also blessed to have you guys, you spiritual upliftments messages have a timing always. You are a real God's sent in my life and I always regain courage and strength when I get your messages. Unfortunately I’m no longer responding as usual is because we've moved offices at work and Telkom hasn't installed the lines yet. I always use someone's laptop to check my mails but with the phone you know the airtime problems but I really appreciate your messages please do not stop. I believe if it was not for your support I don't think I would have been able to face this world. I’m really blessed to have you guys keep well and God bless you and your family. -- Ntombi
You are a true blessing. May God grant you and Talitha all the promises He gave you. I feel led to say "you are called for such a time as this" Esther 4:14. Ps. 23:6 Surely only GOODNESS, MERCY and UNFAILING LOVE shall follow Josef & Talitha all the days of there live, and through the length of there days the house of the Lord and His PRESENCE shall be there DWELLING PLACE. God bless -- Elmarie
The heart cry of the World: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you (Jn.15:12). The meaning of our existence--to convey love to the people & to show God's love to the World.
