Cheerful Esther with her children

I thank the Lord for Family Care Ministries. I am blessed because of them. I left the township of Soweto and moved south to the township of Orange Farm due to the challenges I had with the father of my children especially when he was drunk.

Here in Orange Farm I had no neighbors at first, but I was not lonely since I had the Lord to spend time with. When I go to pass out Christian pamphlets I have a team Kgaugelo(7), Peballo(5) and Turristio(3) who help me tell the people that someone loves them.

I also work as a teacher at a Sunday school which has helped me understand children better and I even prayed the sinners prayer with eighteen of them recently.

Those are only two of the things I do to spread God's love and faith. I’m also helping to feed a woman

and her two children that are facing a challenging life and I have spread our message of love to all three of them. I was also able to pray with a woman for the healing of her son who has been in a coma for three weeks since he was involved in a traffic accident.

Opportunities to witness to complete strangers has also come my way. For example there was a lady who bought airtime at a store but the slip flew out of her hand and she ran around trying to find it by the time she found it she was very tired and I invited her to sit and rest with me and I started a conversation which ended with her telling me her whole story and admitting that she felt very stressed with her life so I

offered her a pamphlet that she promised to read when she was at home.

Since I do not have an income except for a small amount of children money Family Care Ministries has been paying my rent her in Orange Farm and they provide me often with extra food as well.
